During a project, Renovator may create photographs and videos to record the property’s existing condition, concealed installations, construction progress, technical issues and completed work. Project documentation is not automatically authorised for advertising or publication. We do not intentionally publish identifiable client information, private documents or precise property details for promotional purposes without an appropriate legal basis and, where required, specific permission.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet contractual, accounting, tax, warranty, insurance and legal obligations.
Inactive enquiries may normally be retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful communication. Client, contractual and financial records may be retained for the period required by applicable law. Project photographs and technical records may be retained where they remain necessary for maintenance, warranties, safety or legal claims. Marketing information is retained until consent is withdrawn, an objection is made or it is no longer required.
Information connected to an active dispute, regulatory matter or legal claim may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary. When information is no longer required, it is deleted, anonymised or securely restricted.
